Good Teacher and precious time
A good teacher really knows what is his/her student should do
in karate there is this one attack combination called "Khisame-Giaku-cuki". its a simple one-two punch, starts with left jab, followed by right straight punch, and during the execution, we move forward without changing our stance which is left foot at the front, right foot at the back..it is one of the most most common attacks in karate, and every karateka regularly train this move including me…..But, in my case, i feel a little in confident about this move..i don’t know why, i never feel i can do it strong and fast enough despite the fact that it is one of the moves i train most,at the dojo, even at home..I can spend 30 minutes only punching in to the thin air and searching for the best "feeling", then try to add some speed and power in it…But, when it come to "Kumite" (Fight),its an attack which i seldom use. I mostly used kicks (well i do train my kicks regularly), or other punch moves.
Surprisingly, last week, when i ask about how should i fight in a kumite to my teacher, he said that, my best moves is Khisame-giaku-cuki..he said that it is fast, has a good steps and very strong..and i think, "Woow..How come??"..He said that the only flaws in it is that i still can’t determined the right timing to execute it..It is the moves that i should rely constantly compare to my other moves, like kicks and otehrs..
So i reach to a conclusion that "A Good teacher (a really good one) knows what his/her student best at" - and - "If u practice a move regularly and seriously, have faith that it’ll be one of your best move" And both of this apply not just in karate, but also in daily life..
Well, I really really wish that i had a teacher as good as my karate teacher in medicine, who is monitoring my progress at studying and can give me advice about what specialty that I’m best at =(

Other things that i learn these days (or suppose to be years ago) is that "TV Show is the source of indiscipline". And that would apply to me…U know, mostly i had scheduled things that i must do, when to study, to training, to sleep, have a lunch, dinner, when to wake up..but when i get in to my sisters room where she watch some of her favorite TV series, or a nice movies..i just can’t seems to get out of it..i can spend 30 minutes to one hours there watching TV, means that my entire plan is ruined..okey, perhaps its sound funny that i’m blaming the TV for my lack of discipline..but thats what happen..It also ruined my sleeping time, made me stay awake all night, and have a hard time wake up early next morning..the price is that i got sleepy during class, and waste my time to 2-3 hours nap, time that suppose to be usefull for study..Well, actually, not until last 2 month since i join the intensive training when i really realized that time is so so so precious!!!!
4 days ago at co-ass room, i read my fellow medical student Farid Abdul Hadi statement at campus newspapper..he said that "kalo orang bilang saya sibuk, maka dia tidak bisa membagi waktunya" or something like that, i don’t actually remembered the exact detail..but it is very true.

one thing: SINCE WHEN DO YOU START TO WRITE UR BLOG ENTRIES IN ENGLISH?????????????????????? =P
wow, this is the first entry that u write down what u do during training in detail.. reminds me of Ryu, Ken, and Gouki =DDD altho i dont really get the idea of how u do the Khisame Giaku Cuki, i ger what u’re trying to say throughout the first para though.. it’s hard u know, cuz in colleges a teacher has to teach a lottttttttt of students, n doctoral and pharmaceutical studies IS (and sounds) complicated (to me) x( monitoring the progress of a student is challenging enuff (makes a teacher’s brain go mad), cuz there are a lotttttt to teach just one student, rite? it’s about knowledge that can only be reflected through grades frm ur assignments n tests.. but if u put that knowledge more into practical use, then it’s easier for ur teacher/trainer to observe how u’re doing =) waddahell. i comment too much =S
i agree sih… there’s something evil hidden inside the electrical box (TV) hahhaha.. it’s a challenge seh to not be hypnotized by the screen once u start to stare at it, for now i guess u hafta always keep in mind of ur priority - all the time. hmm, i dont really know what’s the solution for this, but just keep away from the tv!! hehhhe =p
the comment so loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooongg
